The Dispense Control Device (DCD) is the result of cooperation between POMTAVA and German flow meter manufacturer KEM Küppers. It is a gear-type metering pump with an integrated gear flow meter that ensures reliable metering in your automated production of paints, adhesives, and PU components. This type of system is available for most of our pumps from 0.6cc/rev and is adapted to the requirements of the application. The measurable flow range is from 5 cc/min to 2,000 cc/min. All pump options are therefore possible in the Dispense Control Device configuration. The flow meter and its electronics are also adapted to the application, depending on the type of product and the flow range to be measured.
This system not only allows measurements to be taken in order to keep track of the various dosages, but the data collected can also be used to perform closed-loop control via a PLC, thereby automatically correcting deviations and thus maximizing the service life of the dosing pump.
The system is very compact and avoids excess hose length. In addition, you have a single point of contact for both components of the system, whether it be the pump or the flow meter.
