About us
Founded in 1986, POMTAVA specializes in the manufacture of high-precision gear pumps and dosing systems. The company is based in the Swiss Jura, the heart of Europe and the cradle of precision mechanics and watchmaking. Initially, we took over the manufacture of pumps Tavannes and DimaThe first model dates back to 1922.
Our highly qualified staff are masters of state-of-the-art machinery, and we make a point of working with local subcontractors. In this way, we control the entire production chain.
We also have our own research and development office, enabling us to respond to customer requests.
POMTAVA's philosophy is resolutely focused on the satisfaction of our customers, whom we prefer to call our partners. The quality of our products and our flexibility in terms of customized solutions have enabled POMTAVA to make a name for itself all over the world. As proof of this, our company exports over 98% to Europe, Asia and America.

1922
Manufacture of the very first dosing pump in Tavannes
1986
Founding of POMTAVA S.A. in Tavannes by Pierre Zimmermann and Antoine Périat. The company's name is a concatenation of POM for pump and TAVA for Tavannes
1989
Philippe, son of Pierre Zimmermann, and Pierre, son of Antoine Périat, take over the reins of the company
1992
Construction of a new building in Reconvilier, neighboring Tavannes, and move to the new premises
1997
1st expansion of the company, allowing better separation of production, assembly and administrative offices
2001
2nd extension. Construction of a tower for administration and test laboratory.
2011
3 expansion. Construction of a new hall to separate production and finishing areas.
2015
Arnaud Zimmermann, son of Philippe Zimmermann, takes over management of the company
2018
4th extension. Construction of an additional storey on the 2005 building and complete reorganization of production flows.
2024
Installation of photovoltaic panels
