Type 18
Heavy-duty paint pumps
Type 18 pumps are available in 2 main models: 1618 and 2618. The main difference between each model is the range of flow rates it offers.
This range of pumps is specially adapted to abrasive paints and hardeners up to pressures of 15 bar, for your automotive or industrial paint applications. Series 18 pumps feature additional bearings that optimally maintain the axes and gears, prolonging pump life when dosing abrasive paints (such as certain primers). An innovative sealing system, based on a special multi-lip seal in high-density PE (PE-HD) developed by POMTAVA, makes this pump an all-round device, adaptable to any situation.
An optional ADLC surface treatment can further improve pump life and ease of flushing, thanks to the coating's low coefficient of friction. Series 18 pumps can also be fitted with a bypass block controlled by a pneumatic valve to improve the quality and duration of rinsing.
